Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-04-07

StatsEdge provides software and information services related to sports markets and betting intelligence. This policy explains what information we handle, why we use it, and the choices you have. Use of the Service is also subject to our Terms of service. If anything here conflicts with a separate agreement you entered with us, that agreement controls for that topic.

Who we are

Niche Digital LLC operates the StatsEdge service from the State of Indiana, United States. Privacy questions and requests: john@sdh-partners.com.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use StatsEdge, we may process:

  • Account and profile. Such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, subscription or tier status, and settings you save in the product (including personalization profile fields we store to tailor the experience — for example uiMode inside personalizationProfileData, alongside other saved preferences).
  • Product usage and content you submit. Data you enter or generate in the app (for example picks, bankroll or bet-tracking inputs, preferences, and in-app activity needed to run features you choose to use).
  • Payments. Paid plans are processed by a payment provider (for example Stripe). We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and customer references); card numbers and full payment credentials stay with the processor under its terms and privacy policy.
  • Support and communications. Messages you send us, including email or in-product support, and related metadata needed to respond.
  • Technical and security data. Server logs, diagnostics, device and browser type, approximate region from IP, timestamps, and similar data used to operate, secure, and improve the service and to prevent abuse.
  • Optional product analytics. If enabled, we may use a third-party analytics tool to understand how the product is used (described under Cookies and analytics). You can limit or turn this off where we offer controls.
  • AI-assisted outputs. Some features send limited in-app context to our configured model provider to generate short explanatory text. See AI-assisted features for examples and precautions. Provider processing is also governed by its terms and policies.

How we use information

We use the categories above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve StatsEdge features you request;
  • Authenticate you, enforce access rules, and protect accounts and our systems;
  • Process subscriptions and communicate about billing or service changes;
  • Respond to support requests and comply with applicable law;
  • Measure reliability and performance, fix bugs, and (where allowed) understand aggregate product usage;
  • Generate optional AI summaries or narrative explanations where you have access and the feature is enabled, using third-party inference APIs under our configuration.

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling lists to data brokers. We may share data with service providers who process it on our instructions, as described below.

How we share information

We share information with vendors that help us run the service—for example cloud hosting, databases, email delivery, payments, error monitoring, analytics when you have not opted out, or model providers when you use AI-assisted features. They may only use personal data to provide services to us and are bound by contract or law to appropriate safeguards.

Typical vendor categories (illustrative—not a complete subprocessor list; counsel should align your DPA and public list with actual vendors):

Service providers by category
CategoryExamples
Hosting / APIse.g. Vercel or similar.
Database / cacheAs configured for your deployment.
Paymentse.g. Stripe.
Analyticse.g. PostHog when enabled—see Cookies and analytics.
AI inferenceOpenAI-compatible endpoint you configure.
Email / opsTransactional email and support tools.

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or government request; to enforce our terms or protect rights, safety, or security; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to standard protections where applicable.

AI-assisted features

Some areas call a third-party inference API to turn limited in-app context into short text, only where the feature is on and you have access. Outputs are not professional advice. We minimize personal data in prompts—do not paste payment info, IDs, health data, or other sensitive content into AI fields. Rate limits and other safeguards apply on our side.

  • Edge feed insights — brief summaries of pick-feed / market context on the edge board (standard request or live stream when enabled; otherwise non-streaming fallback).
  • Play intelligence narratives — short commentary tied to dashboard / play-intelligence signals, where offered.

Counsel should confirm feature coverage, prompts, and provider terms against your deployment.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and security requirements. Retention periods vary by data type; some technical logs are kept for shorter periods, while account and billing records may be kept longer where required.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and protecting your account credentials.

Browser push notifications

If you opt in on the Profile screen (or equivalent), we store a push subscription on your account so we can send alerts you have asked for—for example operational or market notifications tied to your preferences. You can withdraw consent anytime by turning off alerts in Profile, unsubscribing in the browser, or blocking notifications for this site in your browser or device settings.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in, session security, and remembering preferences. Where we use optional third-party product analytics, we aim to minimize data collection and to give you a clear choice when the product is configured for opt-in or opt-out by default.

International users

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR-style summary)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, local law (including GDPR where it applies) may give you rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, portability, and withdrawal of consent where relevant, and to complain to a supervisory authority. This is a summary only—counsel should review it for your facts.

Controller. Niche Digital LLC, which operates StatsEdge (see Who we are), is generally the controller for data we collect through the service, except where we act only as a processor for someone else. Legal bases may include contract (running the service), legitimate interests (security, reliability, limited analytics where allowed), legal obligation, and consent where we request it (e.g. optional analytics or notifications).

We are US-based; cross-border transfers are described under International users, with AI-related sharing under AI-assisted features and How we share information. To exercise rights: john@sdh-partners.com.

Indiana residents (Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act)

If you live in Indiana, the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act (ICDPA), Ind. Code § 24-15 et seq., may apply when statutory thresholds are met. When it applies to Niche Digital LLC as a controller, you may have rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling (as Indiana defines those terms), and to appeal certain denials. We do not process sensitive personal data without consent when Indiana requires it, and we limit collection to what is adequate and reasonably necessary for this policy.

Email john@sdh-partners.com for ICDPA requests (typically answered within 45 days when applicable; we may verify identity). Optional analytics: Cookies and analytics. The ICDPA is enforced by the Indiana Attorney General; there is generally no private right of action. Counsel should confirm thresholds and exemptions.

California residents (CPRA / "Do not sell or share")

If you live in California, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may give you rights to know, delete, and correct certain personal information; to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined by California law); and to limit use of certain sensitive personal information. You may have the right to appeal our response to a request.

Do not sell or share.We do not sell your personal information for money. We use service providers (for example hosting, payments, and—when you have not opted out—product analytics) who process data on our behalf. Depending on how those tools are configured, some disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. You may submit an opt-out request by emailing john@sdh-partners.com (subject line is pre-filled). If applicable, use the analytics controls in Cookies and analytics. AI-assisted features send limited context to a model provider (see AI-assisted features); whether that is a "sale" or "sharing" under CPRA depends on the facts— contact john@sdh-partners.com to limit processing; counsel should map to your program.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information about consumers under 16 without affirmative authorization as required by law.

More information from the California Attorney General: oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa. Counsel should verify that this section matches your actual data practices and vendor agreements.

Other U.S. states (Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia)

If you live in Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), or Virginia (VCDPA) and the law applies to us as a controller, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out of targeted advertising or sale of personal data or certain profiling, and appeals—subject to statutory exceptions. Email john@sdh-partners.com for requests. Official resources: Colorado AG, Connecticut AG (CTDPA), Virginia AG. Counsel should confirm applicability.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Region-specific summaries: EEA / UK / CH, Indiana, California, Colorado / Connecticut / Virginia. Elsewhere, email below—we follow applicable law.

To exercise rights or ask questions, email john@sdh-partners.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. Some requests may be limited by law or legitimate interests (for example, records we must retain for tax or security).

Marketing emails, if any, will include an unsubscribe option. Product analytics can be managed using the controls on this page when that feature is available.

Children

StatsEdge is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction for consent without parental permission). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, email john@sdh-partners.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. We will adjust the "Last updated" date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice as appropriate (for example by email or an in-product message).
